I Can't Believe My Little Girl Is Turning Two!

Two years ago, I was working seventy hours a week as a retail store manager.  My wife was very pregnant, and got the news during her check-up that labor would be induced the next day.  She called me at work to tell me, and every emotion that I had stifled in order to focus on my job came boiling to the surface.  I was terrified and excited, happy and scared, worried and wonderfully hopeful.  Twenty-four hours later, I was holding my first child.  I will never forget how she looked so gross and beautiful at the same time as they cleaned her up in the delivery room.  The first time she cried and looked at me with her blue eyes, I was hooked on fatherhood.  Little did I know just how hooked I would become.

Two years later, I'm a stay-at home dad.  I'm cleaning up our house so that we can host a "Go, Dogs, Go!" themed party.  I get to spend every day with this precious little girl and teach her the values that we believe are important.  She is turning two this weekend, and I am so proud of how smart she is becoming. I am also thankful for my wonderful family - especially my amazing wife who has taken on the burden of bread-winning so that I can stay home with our daughter.  You amaze me every day!

    1. No problem! They have some great stuff on there to help plan themed parties based on their most popular books.
